Peazip maneja la mayoría de los formatos de compresión más conocidos e incluye el suyo propio: PEA
Tiene la capacidad de poder crear archivos en los siguientes formatos: 7Z, ARC, BZ2, GZ, PAQ/LPAQ, PEA, QUAD/BALZ, TAR, UPX, ZIP.
Pero además puede abrir sin la capacidad de creación estos otros: ACE, ARJ, CAB, DMG, ISO, LHA, RAR, UDF y muchos otros más.
Además de poder realizar las clásicas operaciones de los compresores de archivos, PeaZip nos permite unir y separar archivos, borrar archivos definitivamente, comparar 2 archivos byte por byte, generar passwords aleatorios y muchas opciones más.
